Job Summary:
An Investment Banker helps companies, institutions, and governments raise capital, manage financial assets, and provide strategic financial advice. They facilitate mergers and acquisitions, issue securities, and advise clients on investment opportunities to maximize financial growth and minimize risk.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.

Assist companies in raising capital through equity or debt offerings.

Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis.

Prepare pitch books, presentations, and reports for clients.

Monitor market trends and provide investment recommendations.

Coordinate with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams during transactions.

Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and corporate finance.

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Attention to detail and high ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.

MBA or advanced finance certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.

Prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting.

Work Environment:
Typically works in an office setting with long hours, especially during live transactions. Requires collaboration with clients, colleagues, and regulatory bodies. Travel may occasionally be required for client meetings or business development.
